Are you FREE for a couple of hours this Saturday, On Saturday, February 3rd our MV Majors Winter Guard Team have their 1st competition @ Forest Park HS in Woodbridge, VA. Their performance is scheduled for 6 pm. Please come and support, it will truly mean the world to our performers to have you all there to show your support.
Upcoming - MVHS Indoor Home Show - AIA Color Guard/Percussion/Winds Competition
We will be hosting our 10th AIA Indoor Guard & Percussion Competition on Saturday, February 17th @ Mount Vernon High School Field House. This is a wonderful opportunity for our own Winter Color Guard unit to show everyone their hard work. This event is also very important for our program and school, and with that comes the expectation that the better our show operates, the greater our profits.
We have 70 teams coming to compete, which means we need volunteers for almost 400 positions during 9 shifts and several work stations. We are inviting ALL students and 1 parent/guardian to volunteer and assist with this event.

Not available to volunteer the day of the competition? The MVHS Bands Boosters will be providing a Taco Bar for the Teams Directors' lunch/dinner during the competition. We are in need of donations. Please sign-up and bring your item(s) to the MVHS Band Rm (Door 6) during Friday's 2/16 Home Show set-up between the hours of 6 - 9 pm.
