Be a Competition Chaperone!

Chaperones are essential—they ensure students stay safe, happy, and hydrated throughout the day.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of the excitement, connect with other band families, and see firsthand the dedication your student has poured into their performance.

Chaperone Responsibilities:

• Ride the bus with students to and from events

• Provide water and meals

• Assist with uniforms and equipment

• Supervise students in the stands and at events

Join the Pit Crew!

The Pit Crew plays a vital role in the safe and efficient movement of large instruments and show props during games and competitions.

It’s a fantastic way to stay engaged with your student and the program. You don’t need to be at every event—any time you can give is greatly appreciated!

Pit Crew Responsibilities:

• Load and unload equipment and props from the trailers

• Set up and dismantle the front ensemble and props on the field

• Transport equipment to and from competition venues

  
  

This is a physically active but highly rewarding role that gives you a unique, behind-the-scenes perspective of the show. You’ll be among the first to see the students after they perform and experience their excitement up close!

Concessions are the most important fundraiser for our band program.

The money raised from food and drink sales directly supports every student—covering the costs of new instruments, travel expenses, show design, and more.

If your child is in the band, we ask you to please consider volunteering just a few hours of your time.
