Eyes With Pride - Volunteers Needed!!

NOTE - The CALENDAR will be updated with all of our events both Marching Band Rehearsals, Winter Guard Rehearsals, Competitions, Fundraiser Events, Fall Games, and Bands Boosters Meetings. We are one month away from our 11th AIA Indoor Guard & Percussion Competition, scheduled for Saturday, March 22nd at the Mount Vernon High School Field House. We anticipate 70 teams participating, which necessitates volunteers for nearly 400 roles across 9 shifts and various workstations. We require ALL students and 1 parent/guardian to volunteer and support this event.

We will highlight each volunteer position individually throughout the week to facilitate sign-up.

• Need 1 Adult - 7:30 am - 2:00 pm - Tabulation

Tabulation is a crucial component of the contest and extremely important to the units and judges. We as the Event partners are responsible for providing at least one adult tabulator for each contest  (i.e. 1 parent for percussion in the morning, 1 parent for guards in the afternoon/evening). This person should be familiar and comfortable working with computer programs. The Contest Coordinator will train the tabulator on the tabulation software prior to the contest. AIA will provide a laptop with pre-installed tabulation software and laser printer for the tabulation area.

Our MV Majors Winter Guard Team have their 3rd competition today, Saturday, February 22nd @ Woodgrove High School, 36811 Alder School Rd, Purcellville, VA 20132.  

Their performance is scheduled for 2:25 pm.  Our team is really excited about their 3rd competition of the season.
