Happy Monday Boosters (Parents & Guardians),

Everyone is invited. No need to worry about your marcher being hungry, as dinner will be provided: Monday - Pasta, Tuesday - Taco Tuesdays, Thursday - Subs, and Friday - Pizza.
All Marching Majors received an official registration packet to fill out with their Parent(s)/Guardian(s). Please help the Directors and Coaches by finishing the registration.

Believe it or not, Week 2 of Band Camp is intensifying. Please make sure your Marcher(s) regularly check their emails for updates from our Band Directors & Coaches.
Band Camp is a vital part of our Marching Season. Band Camp is when your Marcher learns and enhances their technique, learns choreography, and begins learning their staging (sets) for their show. Additionally, it is a fantastic bonding experience where they get to know each other and grow together as a team.
Band Camp can be very enjoyable for your Marcher(s), but it also requires a lot of effort. It is advised for your Marcher(s) to ensure they are staying hydrated, stretching, reviewing routines, eating healthily, resting, and... Preparing their outfits for Spirit Week.
Band Camp Checklist - was shared with your Marcher(s). Please go over the checklist with your Marcher(s) and make sure they have all the necessary items and are doing everything possible to be prepared.

o Our Band is BIG in heart and our volunteers keep it running smoothly.
o Commitment, Dedication, and Passion are key components to making a group successful. We ask for a few things from both the parents involved and their students. It takes the resources of ALL those involved to become successful. Don't sit on the sidelines . . . Get involved.
We are looking for volunteers to fill the following positions this season.
Concessions Chair:
The Concessions Chairperson is responsible for overseeing and organizing concession stands at the MVHS Stadium. This includes events such as Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman Football, Field Hockey, and other events sponsored by the MVHS Band Boosters, like the AIA MVHS Winter Color Guard Home Show and Concert Concessions. The final appointment will require approval from the Executive Committee.
Pit Crew Chair:
The Pit Crew Chairperson is responsible for coordinating with the Band Director to organize and guide volunteers in the transportation and setup of instruments and equipment for band performances. The Chairperson will handle the pickup, driving, and return of the trailer. Additionally, the Chairperson will identify maintenance needs and conduct regular checks on the equipment ATV (such as oil, gas, etc.). Volunteers will receive instructions on the safe handling of all equipment. The Executive Committee will give final approval for the appointment.
Hospitality Chair:
The Hospitality Chairperson is responsible for recruiting committee members and organizing the hospitality committee to supply meals for the marching band, host receptions after concerts, and provide food for trips and other events as required. The Executive Committee will give final approval for the appointment.
Uniform Chair:
The Uniform Chairperson is responsible for recruiting uniform coordinators for fittings and distributing uniforms for performances, managing the inventory and quality of marching band uniforms, and organizing uniform cleaning as necessary. The Band Director will have the final approval for this role.
o Don’t worry if you don’t know how to do a job!
There is always someone who will show you the ropes!
