MVHS Band Boosters Upcoming Events!

NOTE - The CALENDAR will be updated with all of our events both Marching Band Rehearsals, Fundraiser Events, Competitions, Fall Games, and Bands Boosters Meetings. Our Marching Season is over, but the Majors Football Season isn't finish yet. We officially have one more Freshmen/JV Football Game to operate the Concession Stand. With the Mount Vernon Pyramid Chorus Concert scheduled for the same evening, we are truly in need of your help. Stay tune for any additional information on upcoming Away Football games.

Our Winter season auditions are coming very soon.   After coming off from winning gold medals in our last winter season and receiving a Superior Rating with the Marching Band at VBODA this fall, they are ready for the new challenges in A2 and fun times to come.  

As we come closer to the audition dates, our fall section leaders have been holding student-led practices.   These are open to anyone who wants to come to learn new technique, get "back" into shape, and/or refine their craft.  The next one will be today: Wednesday, 11/6 from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm- outside the band room

Important Upcoming Dates:

• Audition Dates: November 12, 14, 18 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm (attend all 3 dates)

• First Practices: November 19, 12, 25, 26 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Calling all former members of the Mount Vernon High School Band program!

Would you be interested in performing with the Band during this year's Winter Concert - December 14, 2024?  We are planning for an official Alumni Band performance this year!  This is a great opportunity for all of us to come together, reminisce, and share our gifts, talents and interest in music.  Pending interest and availability, alum will be invited to take the stage with the MVHS Concert Band!  Stay tuned for details!
